Current 3DP Updates for Intel DZ68BC

Just wanted to advise that I came across 3DP earlier this year and soon regarded it as a good and reliable utility for installing/updating drivers and I also like the observation that it seems to only use official manufacturer available drivers rather than third party drivers which may not always be thoroughly tested.

I clean installed Windows 7 x64 on my home PC in the first half of June 2014 and used the latest 3DP Net to install first the networking driver and then then downloaded the latest 3DP Chip to install the latest drivers.

I just wanted to note that the networking driver installed last month is a 2013 v12.x driver, while Intel shows a v19.1 driver released in April 2014.

Also I think useful additions to drivers in 3DP would be the RST software and BIOS updates, as these are common components often installed when updating drivers.

Finally Intel still lists the latest chipset driver for the DZ68BC as v9.x on it's download page, and I noted 3DP offerred me the choice of 9.x or 10.x which it warned may have USB issues. I thought I would try the v10.x driver and so far have not had any issues, and have noted on Intel's site that despite the v10.x not on the DZ68BC download page the v10.x does support the Z68 chipset.

The main observation and reason to report here was an older networking driver being offered by 3DP Net last month when I clean installed Windows, however hopefully my comments are useful to others who are using 3DP.
