I´m trying to install S3 Twister T in Windows7, the official S3 dirvers (Date from 2002) install OK..but Chrometal 4.0 installation says that can only run in Windows NT. But if i run to Legacy setup in Chrometal folder..the setup begins but it gives a error when installing the driver.
Is there anyway to install Chrometal for S3 Twister T in Windows 7 32bit?

Sorry, i meant to say ChroMetal 4.9, not 4.0.
This is an very old laptop for W7, but beside the VGA poor performance in W7 enviroment, everything works great.. the funny thing is that S3 2002 drivers works OK, even i can use S/Video Out...but ChroMetal doesnt install. I tried to replace all S3 files to the ChroMetal drivers in System32, but it gave bluescreen.

Just an update..
For S3 Twister T users in W7, use 139412Hotkey version..it works great in W7, it´s a lot smoother than another version.. also i got Direct3D enable.
I will keep trying to install ChroMetal 4.9..if i managed to do it, i will post it.

You need to check this file, becuse i don't have a Twister-T.

Win7 driver do not officially exist because S3 do not build them. I can not ensure that ChroMetal operate in Win7. But, read this words for your guidance : Refer to the Driver Installation section(in Device Manager) in Windows User's Manual first before you install the Windows drivers.
