Hi, a friend of mine has an old version of 3DP CHIP that we can run without installing on the machine. He said a few years ago he was able to reach out to the developers and they helped him with this.
When we run the older version, however, it now tells us to update a lot and half the time it won't let us download drivers anymore. We absolutely love this tool but it seems we need to finally update it to the latest version.
I was wondering if anyone has found a way to make this standalone so that we don't have to install it on the machine to run it? I was planning on emailing the developers as well to see if they could help, and we can even donate some money to cause but I wanted to ask the forum to see if anyone knew of a way.

Hi, thank you for responding. I like to keep 3DP on my USB drive to show friends. Sometimes people don't like when I install programs on their machine. The old version of 3DP we have runs from the folder and doesn't need an install, which is very convenient. We love 3DP very much! -

I'll have a think about portable version. Maybe I do, maybe I don't.
If I'll do that, portable version will only support minimum functions. Because some function requires installation of 3DP Chip.

I two am longing for the returned functionality from version 15, which was portable. I am a PC tech and use 3DP hundreds of time a year, its much more convenient to plug my USB in and have the program work than to install it, not to mention the malware install that is 3DP (I understand you need it for advertising)
Please make version 16 portable. Not having this function makes one of my most highly respected tools not so useful. -

We love your product, bumping in hopes you will create portable. Like I said, I will pay, you can CHARGE $$$ for portable version and then offer the same free version you have that requires installation and ads etc. This way you can actually sell your product. Us techs love it!
