USBslot not working

Hello there,

thanks for your program, it did the job.

History:

I got my laptop as a present of my uncle. He bought it maybe in 2006 or 2008 and did not use it at all.

Last week, on a family-visit, he gave it to me as a christmas present, because he nearly doesn't know

what to do with this unit [his words!]

But I have a Problem:

All  4 USBslots do not work. When I insert the USB-Stick in one slot, the computer recognizes "found a

new hardware" and starts the wizard "to install the software that comes with the device".

What shall I do? Even the update of the drivers with 3DP Chip did not resolve the problem.

If possible, please help me.
