problem is... when i download any other hp/compaq/starightfromconexant it doesn't detect the device when installing.

last time windows update managed to find the right drived and install it by itself, now it refuses to do so... "cannot install hardware"

with the 3DChip software i downloaded the driver, 3DP Edition 9.0.3 ConexantHD driver. Sound is coming, but the jacks don't work, i mean there's sound from the headphones but the speakers are not turning off. mixer doesn't work either, max level output, expect i could control it with WAVE slider... the main one doesn't respond or mute. this is just too much, i wish i had money for a decent external card, but not right now...
