i tried install, but it keeps getting me the error, no idea what happened now....seems broken now.....rolled back to 15.12 until a a fix appear

I tried v16.xx in Italian Windows 7-32(lauguage pack) but there is no problem.

Please check belows.
- Execute the 3DP Chip using 'Run as administrator'.
- Close your anti-virus software when you install the 3DP Chip.

If the problem persist, can I remote control your PC?

I think the problem is something that is in the Windows registry when you install 3DP Chip, to lead the executable to other PCs does not work.

I think it was something that changes you in version 15.xx to 16.xx, happen on all PCs that took the executable.

If you use the installer starts to work ...

It was useful to many people you had one portable version made for you, although that always works copy the installer folder to a pen and work on any PC (in version 15.xx or earlier)
